My wireless keyboard started out as the greatest thing I had ever bought. Playin, kickin it in bed was AWESOME. Recently I've run into a problem with the keys not registering. It makes for some funny typos, but the problem is when typing in a bet, it misses the decimal from time to time. I just bet $15 instead of $1.50 while trying to pick up a pot, it did not work out well. I also may have broken my hand, wrist, and or eye karate chopping the keyboard after it happened. So far your hands sake.... For your bankrolls sake.... PLUG YOUR KEYBOARD IN!!!

Feeling really confident about the OFC freeroll today, so decided I'm going to log the action here, and later analyze some of the big hands.

BEWARE DONKEYS: I don't play many freerolls, so going in I have to keep in mind any player could have any two cards at anytime. Raises will NOT scare two suited cards or Q10 out of a pot. I will also play my monsters REAL FAST, REAL EARLY. In almost any raised pot, i will be busting allin w/ AA KK QQ, maybe even AKsuited.

We're underway: Gametime.... I don't have anyone i know or have notes on...

I have a lot of players who are new to online poker ask me the same question....... HOW MUCH DO I BET AND WHEN?! There's definitely no exact answer and there's a lot of great players who bet a lot of different ways. Here's some basic guidelines that can help you develop your betting style.

1. Try to bet according to the size of the pot, I usually bet approximately 70% of pot, but around 1/2 the pot is good.

2. Adjust your bet sizes when the blinds get VERY high. I rarely make a min. raise, but once blinds are enormous in a large MTT, the min can actually be a fairly large...

1. Learn to step away: One HUGE mistake that gets made all the time, and one of my poker vices, is taking anger, frustration, butthurts, and loot to a table after something goes wrong. Often times, I might catch a bad beat at a final table to finish 7th or 8th, when I could have had a chance to win, and for some odd reason this prompts me to head to the cash table to make up the difference. This is an ENORMOUS mistake. You are going there WANTING to get into big hands, WANTING to win large pots, angry from the bad beat you just took, and probably a bit burnt out from...

Wassup Hustlers,
My name is Nick Burress aka Mavs_Dad aka benzino, and have been playing poker seriously for about 7 years. Over that time I have been a fairly profitable and consistent player and have become proficient at most variations that are popular today. I have never won a HUGE tourney, and never reached a point where I could stop working to play poker only, but my ROI(Return on Investement) from the time i made my first deposit is VERY positive. My biggest takedown to date is $3200 which came from a 2nd place in a 17K gtd. tourney on Full Tilt, and had numerous big finishes on...
